Participants must purchase The Official SAT Study Guide 2020 Edition and have a personal gmail account. Google classroom will be used to share worksheets and various information. Before class begins, each registered student will receive a zoom invite. If you took any PSAT Tests please have the score reports available.
Kathryn Diver holds a BA in Secondary Education English from York College of Pennsylvania and a masters in education from Gratz College. She recently completed the Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification program at Georgian Court University and holds certification with the state. She previously taught literature and writing to 9th through 12th-grade students. This year she teaches literature, writing, mathematics, and 21st-century skills to students with special needs in grades 9 through 12. Additionally, she hosts college essay writing workshops for students in Monmouth County. She looks forward to working with your student as they prepare for their SATs.
Cheryl Vetser is a highly enthusiastic, compassionate, and student-centered educator
who continually seeks to expose her students to the "fun and practical" side of mathematics. Mrs. Vetser earned a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University and a Masters Degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics from the College of Staten Island. She just celebrated her nineteenth year as an education professional teaching math at both the high school and college levels. Mrs. Vetser is experienced in helping students understand mathematical concepts and developing interest for the subject. Some of her areas of expertise include, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Financial Literacy and Statistics to name just a few. Mrs. Vetser regularly volunteers her time to tutor students both in and outside of the classroom. She takes pleasure in fund raising and coordinating events of all types. In her spare time, she enjoys, reading, solving sudoku puzzles, doing Yoga and playing tennis.
