Participants must purchase your own SAT book that the instructors will tell you before the class starts which one to buy. If you took any PSAT Tests please have the score reports available.

Sarah Vela graduated from NYU in 2008 with a BA in Art History and worked in business for 13 years. She decided to leave her former career to pursue her dream of becoming a classroom teacher. Sarah completed her Masters in the Science of Teaching in May 2021, and is certified in Secondary English Education. Sarah is on the board of The Backpacks Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to help students reach academic success. After three years of teaching in Brooklyn, NY, Sarah is currently teaching Sophomore English at Communications High School in Wall, NJ.
Cheryl Vetser is a highly enthusiastic, compassionate, and student-centered educator who continually seeks to expose her students to the "fun and practical" side of mathematics. Mrs. Vetser earned a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University and a Masters Degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics from the College of Staten Island. She just celebrated her 25th year as an education professional teaching math at both the high school and college levels. Mrs. Vetser is experienced in helping students understand mathematical concepts and developing interest for the subject. Some of her areas of expertise include, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Financial Literacy and Statistics to name just a few. Mrs. Vetser regularly volunteers her time to tutor students both in and outside of the classroom. She takes pleasure in fund raising and coordinating events of all types. In her spare time, she enjoys, reading, solving sudoku puzzles, doing Yoga and playing tennis.
