The PAL offers a variety of high quality sports and co-curricular activities with experienced coaches and advisors throughout the year.
This mentoring program is available to high school and middle school students. Meetings are held twice a month for each age group.
Reiki Level 1 is a gentle and supportive two-day introduction to Reiki, designed especially for those with no prior knowledge or experience. Reiki is a simple, natural energy practice that involves placing the hands lightly on or near the body to support relaxation, balance, and wellbeing. It can be used for self-care, to support others, and even with plants and animals.
During this course, participants learn what Reiki is, where it comes from, and how it can be used safely and respectfully in everyday life. Reiki Level 1 focuses primarily on self-healing and personal wellbeing, while also teaching the basics of offering Reiki to friends, family, plants, and animals. The course is experiential, practical, and nurturing, allowing students to build confidence through guided practice.
No special abilities or beliefs are required—only an open mind and a willingness to learn.
By the end of this two-day Reiki Level 1 course, participants will be able to:
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Reiki Level 1 (Shoden) Certificate of Completion, recognizing them as a Reiki Level 1 Practitioner. This certification confirms that the participant has received Reiki Level 1 training and attunements and is able to practice Reiki for self-care and informal use with others.
